The famous battle in the Ardennes was Hitler's last push and it was led by his
most famous Panzer Leader, the accomplished Jochen Pieper. Known as Königstiger,
the King Tiger was the most powerful battle tank in the German Arsenal. The roar
of the engines, the awesome 88MM cannon, & the simple fact that it took 5
Sherman tanks to successfully defeat 1 King Tiger was reason enough for the name
King Tiger.
