Between 1939 and 1945, the German Army had available 33 panzer
units in total in addition to the Waffen-SS Panzer Divisions
and the 11 independent Heavy Tank Battalions plus the 512
Jagdtiger (tank destroyer) battalion. This section summarises
their service history with their most commonly recognised
emblems. We will develop this section as a reference resource
for fellow enthusiasts over time. You can contribute to this
